I did a search for Alpena Michigan and a bunch of errors popped up on top of the page. It also told me to try a bigger city close to the event location.

Thanks for the heads up!

We’re operating on a new server (faster/better/cooler/etc. 8) )
It doesn’t have its error handling features redirected yet, so any code errors show up at the top of the page.

In this case, the code “assumed” that there would be some sort of search results for Alpena, MI – but when it came across a location that doesn’t have DJ’s signed up for yet... it didn’t know how to handle it correctly.

I’ve corrected the code so that it knows what to do. (I hope!)

As for the “Please select a large city nearby and try again.”
That’s there for the future when we have thousands of DJ’s listed and someone selects a “way out” town that isn’t covered by anyone in the directory.

I think that in the future, once we have a directory full of DJ’s, we’ll change things so the search engine will suggest “regional” DJ’s that may not normally show up in a normal by-distance search.

what is the range set for "nearby"
Because I service Alpena all the time. Is there a way for us to list in more than one area? Or maybe extend our range of service?
