To increase traffic to Public Forum, what about trading listings/links with non-DJ directories? There's local and national wedding directories, special events, festival websites, etc.
I'm thinking that it would probably take several moderators, maybe breaking it down into sections of the country with one for each. Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and so on.
Maybe even a non-new thread main page where the mods could move a post of national discussion.
An example: A bride asking about a location in San Francisco would post on the Southwest board. Her neighbor could ask about Christmas activities on the same board and the mod would send it to the national board to assist with everyone's holiday parties.
Any thoughts? |
