We just got our first pallet of Omega 250C's in and I lit one up. Here's a pic of me in red about 16' from the fixture.
With a MAP price of only $ 149.99 these are truely a value. 14 colors plus white, split colors, dimming and strobing make for a very versitile 15 pound fixture. Don't forget, we're running special introductory pricing through the end of November... email me for details. |

Wow -- that looks really good. It even comes with a "wash" lens -- I can't tell if it just "softens" the projected light, or whether it gives it a wider diameter as well.

CJ,
As it turns out, the Omega 250C is supplied only with the wash lens. I estimate the beam angle to be nearly 40 degrees with a soft edge. That's about the same beam spread as an outdoor 150w flood light bulb.
They will be perfect for washing the dance floor with color. |

40 degrees is quite wide for a color changer. (Even the Martin CX-4's normal beam angle of 16 degrees only goes out to 28 degrees with the wide-angle lens kit.)
Seems like these were really made to wash the room with color! |
