Corinne Bailey Rae is the freshest voice to grace my speakers in years. Smooth as silk and 100% relaxing. Her single "put your record on" is a new favorite for wedding dinner music. The bridesmaids always sing along. I always play Maroon 5 "Sunday morning" as a set up song. She could be the next alicia keys or even better. Her first love was -punk rock- and these still rank in her list of influences. she was working as a waitress in a blues/jazz bar in England and often due to no-shows or circumstances the staff would get a chance to perform for the public. the rest is history. she is currently on a sold out world tour and being sought out by many artist and song writer such as Prince himself.
