Hmmm... what size is the computer screen set to?
800x600?
1028x764?
Let me know, and I'll take a look at our layout at the same screen size.
Thanks. |

Either he has it set to 800x600, or the browser window is not using the full screen.
CJ -
Just reduce your window size a bit to see his problem.
The cause of the problem is the items at the top of the page. The way it is set up, those three items (logo, text links, banner ad) must appear on the same line. Together with the blue, grey and gold borders, they force the page width to be wider than the window width. All remaining items size up to the page width, not the window width, creating the problem.
The solution is to make the logo smaller and/or move the text links and/or get rid of the excess borders. Or move or get rid of the banner ad.
Or tell people they have to set monitors to 1024x768 or better.

MANY sites are now designed requiring 1024x768 resolution. |

DJ Teddy Bear -- you're quite right, most people are using the higher resolution now.
But, since greater than 30% are still using 800x600, I went ahead and moved the links to a line just below the banner ad.
Now the page seems to resize correctly. The only time it still runs off the side is if a person is logged off... but I'm not too concerned about that since they need to log on first before they can see the private DJ forums anyway!
djradatz -- let me know if that fixes your problem. |
