|
|
For those of you who work with C&W Line Dance instructors, or are line dance instructors yourself:
TM Century just released a new version of Trace Adkins' "Badonkadonk".
(Release issue: PrimeCuts HP200607, on 02/17/2006)
It sounds like a good, slow, steady stomp-type or even a partner-type line dance.
It's cool to hear these different versions sometimes. Many of the remixes that come out these days are euro-dance-club style and not very useful... but this one is "70's Groove Mix" style, which while being a little 70's-ish, is really more of a well-paced country style with a little disco-rhythm added in the background. |

| We first got it in July 2005 -- TMCentury 636P -- Wife started using it early last fall -- when it first hit the country charts -- adults and kids like it -- Will have to listen to the one you mention and see what the remix is like vs the original. |

| Have both the country and the "video" version of the song. I got more requests for Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off and Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On than that one...... |

| I play the video version when the song is requested. Much better beat. Similiar to the 70s mix released on Prime Cuts. |

| I love the 70s version and play it all the time now. My aerobics instructor said "I didn't know the song came out in the 70's" (what a blonde moment)! |
