| I run a Karaoke/DJ service working clubs and private parties. I use a laptop to play all my dance music (mp3's) and a cd+g player for the karaoke. I use PCDJ FX witch is great in my opinion. I recently purchsed the KJ plug-in for PCDJ and like how it works. I am looking to run everything from my laptop as I slowly rip my cdg's to mp3+g. One problem I see is that PCDJ doesn't play directly from a cdg disc. I have used Swift elite but don't like how it functions as well as PCDJ but it does play cdg disc's. What has other used for the all in one solution. Keep in mind that I want to be able to do it all from my laptop so I don't have to lug the cdg player around anymore. |

I haven't worked with the PCDJ Karaoke program... but I'm sure it's fine as long as you don't have to play an actual Karaoke disc.
The interface for Swift Elite can get a little complex -- unnecessarily so -- but it will definitely do the job. |

That is where the problem is....
It woks great except for playing the actual disc. |
