Hey gang,

Well, it's time for me to sell out. I am selling to help pay for my college. I am going to college to get CET certified (certified electronics technician), J-Standard certified, A+ certified (hardware & software) and FCC licensed & certified. Currently have a 4.0 GPA.. yea!! My 2 sons and I are all going to collage together.
Planning on opening up an electronics/PC repair and service business when we graduate. I currently have service contracts with 5 local night clubs and music shops.

Anyway.... I am posting this to my fellow DJs before I go to EEK-Bay...

So if you are looking to expand with another system or know someone looking into getting in the business, send them my way. If you help me sell, you WILL make a commission!

Yep, going to build a new business, one that I can pass on to my 2 sons that are also going to college for the same course... The were not at all interested in DJing so I figured instead of building a business up for the next 20 or so years and then it die when I retire.. I'd build one they would do and keep going after I retire and possibly on to their kids..

I already have 5 night clubs and music shops and signing service contracts with us to do their sound equipment and lighting repairs... The only other person here doing this type of repairs is retiring so it's an open market right now... next closest place is 60 miles away worth taking things to...

That's the plan anyway... looking not only to my future, but my kids future too.. :)

Welp, we are pretty good friends with quite a few bands in this area and they spread the word for us...

Week one: Tell ALL your DJ and band friends what you have and post it on the net so they can see it all.

Week two: Lower prices a bit (to your DJ friends) and post an ad in a local paper - give no prices - (there is a freebie here called "The Big Nickel" that is free for readers to pick up, all stuff for sale, you name it, you can probably find it in it)

Sold all the lighting to one person
Sold the Peavey CS800X to a guy up around Chicago (from WeDJ)
Sold the rest locally to others

So far has worked pretty good.. only a few things left...

I have a guy comiing to see the speakers AGAIN later today.. he also bought the mics and speaker cords last night... He was interested in the speakers too but I didn't have them hooked up.. (my rack setup all in peices.. with some things missing .. LOL)

After he left, I got it all hooked back up, had to do some major tweeking to get it to sound right because of the missing pieces... It's all good though, got her tweeked, enough to cause neighbors to come outside to see where all the "thumpin" was coming from.. :hahaha: a block away.... and I was in my closed up garage.. :shock:

Can't beat the older Peavey workhorses...

Well, here is the last update... I have sold everything but the CDG Karaoke player... I've lowered the price of it to $150.00 plus shipping... needs to go!! Goes for 200 plus on EekBay...

Still works great!! no remote though...

Have 4 Martin Roboscan 812's for sale with bulbs. Right now posted on Ebay also. Units are used, but have seen minimal wear. Been transported in tour case, no rust, no dents, etc... mirrors are spotless. These have the HTi 150 discharge lamp in them... the Osram version, with 6500K temperature. Not the typical Martin metal halide.

Email me if interested. Asking $300 each.

Also, have a bulb for sale, and a spare mirror assembly, both new.
