CJ:
I visit here alot and have checked in my profile that I don't watch topics.
I click on watched topics and check all and click on stop watching and nothing happens.
Since DJGold is now part of my message board diet, I don't need to watch topics. |

Hi John,
I'll take a look at the message board code a little later today and see if there's something preventing you from "unsubscribing" from already-subscribed posts, and making your default as "not-subscribed". |

Hmmmm... that is weird.
In checking it out, it seems that hitting the "Stop Watching" button on the Watched Topics page doesn't do anything.
And even though I de-selected "Always notify me of replies" in my profile, the selection box in my topic reply came up as "checked".
Looks like the code really really really wants us to be subscribed... even when we don't want to be!
I'll look at it some more and try to find the problem.
Thanks. |

All Right!
I found a simple HTML error in the Watched Topics page that was preventing us from submitting the requested changes.
I didn't write the HTML for that page -- someone on the phpBB forums did.
BUT, I should have checked it for proper operation after I installed it!
Check it out and see if it works like you want it to.
------
With "Always notify me of replies" selected to "No" in your profile, the checkbox should be unchecked whenever you post something. You can always select "yes" for that particular post or "Watch this topic for replies" if you decide you want to get email notification for a specific post. |

Hey... quit nitpicking! :P
---------
As administrator, I usually try to watch as many topics as possible -- so I probably would never have noticed that the "Stop Watching" button wasn't working.
Thanks! |
