Very cool idea CJ! Looks like 700+ members and growing quickly.

I'll definitely help spread the word. I've included your DJGold.com link in 2 places so far... Seems like a really neat setup. The forum and the free web page for DJs. Great stuff. I found the forum by seeing the DJ Gold webpage belonging to Rich from Ultimate Mobile DJs in Chicago.

Howdy,

I have to second a lot of the thoughts here. This is a well run, thought provoking, idea packed venue. Congratulations to all the people who have made it great. I hope to contribute in the future, but until then, back to reading.

At my day job, there are only about 20 people. If there is an opening, and two candidates are equally qualified, if one of them has the same first name as someone who already works here, the other one gets the job.

We now have two members here named "Michigan DJ"? The difference is the capitalization and the space?

OY VEY!

Do us all a favor in our effort to keep you two seperate in our own heads. Don't change your avatars.

And to the newest michigandj - Welcome.

Hello All...coon

Postby groovielou » Tue Jan 17, 2006 3:56 am

Thanks for the invite... Seems like a great place to kick back..

A bit about me...

I own Sonic Productions out of Chino Hills, California. I am new to this particular board, it does seem like a very friendly place. My company has been in existence since 1998 officially, I have been a club/mobile jock since 1991.

I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, and of course MUSIC. I love to interact and network with people as extraverted as myself, for example Dj's! If there is a way I can help, I am just that kind of person... willing to do it.

As for my clients, I would say I am a bit picky. If I dont feel a certain chemistry in my initial meetings, I will just as easy refer them to another qualified Disc Jockey.

I offer Dj service, Karaoke and PA System rental.

Thanks for reading....

Finally, I found a DJ site not devoted to the British Trance scene. :mic: I am the Mighty Lord Airgtar and I am strictly a car show disc jockey. I got out of the wedding scene because it was a major stress on my health. I'm not making the kind of money I used to make but I am having much more fun. Hope to have fun here and learn stuff as well. One of the biggest things I want to learn is putting all my music on hard drive and not having to carry four cases of CDs. :hahaha:

Welcome aboard lordairgtr. There are several DJ's on the forum who have made the transition to DIGITAL. You will find some who swear by it and some who don't care for it.
I happen to think its great! Sure there have been some bumps in the road, but as you said,.."not having to carry four cases of CDs. "
