Here's a very clever video

This video is the most clever one since that one OK Go did with the treadmills. Check out Mute Math's newest video, "Typical".

This video is #1 on the YouTube Artist chart only five days after posting!

How did they do it? “simply by learning the song backwards, one shot, no edits.”

No edits?

I found at least 2....
One where the lead singer walks up to the camera.
Those post-its didn't get remoeved that quickly either.

Very cool video!
Ever since coldplay did it with the Scientist, evidently, this is becoming more popular.

consider the stuff they were dragging accross the stage when "removing" postits and other things. Plus, you can tell there was some air current going on there too blowing the postits around.

Here's the video performed live and backwards on the Jimmy Kimmel show

Also, here's a "making of" video showing how yes indeed they did do it in one take with no edits.

I don't believe they did it in one take either, but it is a cool vid. Reminds me of that short segment in Amish Delight where Weird Al did the song in reverse.

No, they really did it in one take. I've known these guys for years and they for real did it in one take. They are the most energetic live act you will ever see too. Did you even watch the Backwards Live on the Jimmy Kimmel show link? That to was all one take, and it's easy to see how those "christmas lights" were done so quickly as well. Watch the "making of" link too. They had to learn the whole song backwards.
