Computer DJing Poll

Many DJ's are "switching up" to computers as the new way to DJ. They provide near-instant access to large song lists and can be integrated to control video and DMX lighting.

I started with WinAmp, user friendly, alot of useful plug-ins available and besides it is free. I now use Mixmiester for alot of my events. I still use WinAmp as my backup and for a handsfree video setup.

I am now in the process of upgrading from PCDJ Red VRM to PCDJ Dex. The reason(s)? 1. Compatibility with midi controllers (using a Hercules RMX on my new ceremony rig) and 2. I like the ability to have a 3rd and even a 4th deck to use. I will be using Dex on gigs starting in December. Getting more comfortable with it each day.
