Running Visualizations on a Second monitor

Many DJ's are "switching up" to computers as the new way to DJ. They provide near-instant access to large song lists and can be integrated to control video and DMX lighting.

Running Visualizations on a Second monitor

Hi All,
Just in case you are using a laptop and want to feed a visualization to a second monitor without spending a bunch of money, I figured out a way to do it. You likely can use the same method with a projector (haven't tried it yet, can't afford the projector). Anyway, I went into detail over on the PCDJ Red Mobile forums. Heres the link: ... post126709

Thanks for the link... I use visuals with a projector sometimes, but I did find on that link a useful modification so I can do true full-screen mode on the secondary monitor. (I use winamp too) Before, I always had to "detach" visualization and then "drag" it over to the projector display, then stretch it to size (which still left a border around the display). Another cool tip was to use winamp visualization and an external sound source to trigger it with the "Play URL --> linein://" feature.
