Normally? Around 25 miles. But lately, I have been getting a lot of referrals from two venues, each about 5 miles from home. Sweet! So I voted 6-20.

I will go up to about 60 miles before thinking about adding a mileage fee.

The furthest I ever went was 600 miles. But that was for my wife's friend, and we stayed at their house.

Our Norm is about 30 miles -- went 350 one time --

We too add a mileage fee after about 60 and have also let the client supply a room as well -- (most of the time they (the clients) have volunteered this)

Have had 1 x opportunity that would have entailed flying across the country (Family) -- then I would have just taken the laptop and rented equipment --

I average about 30 miles or so (one way) because I live in a small town, but serve a large area.

I too have been travelling further recently to cover some nice gigs, but generally don't add mileage/travel fees until it gets over the 60 mile mark, and especially if I'm thinking about staying overnight.

I once traveled from RI to Key Largo for a wedding, but the client paid for the flight, room, food, etc. My norm is usually 100 miles or less each way.
